Steve Lee wins an Early Career Research Award from the Australian Research Council

Avinash, past lab mamber, undertook research summer internship at Harvard. His project was titled "Cell Barcodes - Tagging and identification of cells in a microfluidic device by using intracellular Whispering Gallery Modes" has been awarded the Best Poster Award at the HST Biomedical Optics Program 

ANU graduates use smartphones to 'add spice' science in schools

A group of ANU graduates are hoping to change the way science is taught in schools by using smartphones and new developments in lens technology.

Scientists watch living taste cells in action

Scientists have for the first time captured live images of the process of taste sensation on the tongue.

The international team imaged single cells on the tongue of a mouse with a specially designed microscope system.
